Have you ever wanted to save certain parts of your chat conversations with AI into a document for future reference? Typically, you would’ve needed to manually copy and paste the chat content into a separate external document, but with DocAI, you can now easily convert your chats into a formatted document with advanced editing capabilities very easily!

Here is how to create a document in ChatAI:

• Next to the message you want to include in the document, hover over it and click on the arrow that says “Add to Outliner”

• Repeat the process for as many messages (even if they’re from different chats – regardless of whether they’re new or old) as you like. They’ll all be added to the same Outliner

• On the right (where the Outliner is), click on “Convert to Document”

• You’ll now be presented with a document editor including all the messages you selected. You can add your own notes, edit the content as needed, and format it the way you want using the Header Editor (add headings, bold, italicize, adjust the alignment, and more)

• Once you’re done, click on the “Download Document” at the top and choose your preferred format (PDF, Word, or HTML)

Congratulations! You’ve just turned your chat into a professional-looking document with DocAI. Now you can easily refer back to important conversations and insights without having to scroll through endless chats.

Import a Document and Continue Editing Using a Text Editor

What if you already have a document and you want to make edits or continue working on it using AI? No problem! You can easily import your existing document into DocAI and continue editing it with all the features and capabilities available.

Simply follow these steps:

• On the main page, click on “Documents”

• Click on the upward-facing arrow in the top left corner

• Select your document from your computer and upload it to DocAI

Use DocAI to Write, Enhance, and Edit with One Click

You can now use all the formatting tools available, along with the editing capabilities, including but not limited to:

• Making the text shorter
• Making the text longer
• Summarizing the text
• Simplifying the language
• Improving the writing
• Generating further text
• Translating the text

That way, you can easily enhance and improve your existing document using DocAI’s advanced technology. And once you’re down, you know what to do: download it and share your polished piece with the world!

Start a Blank Document

What about if you neither have a chat nor an existing document? You can absolutely start a new document from scratch using DocAI.

Here’s how:

• Once you log in, click on the “Documents” tab on the left
• Next to the search bar, click on the + sign
• You can now start typing your content directly in the document, copy and paste text from other sources, or simply ask the AI to generate text for you
• Play around with the formatting tools and editing capabilities to create the perfect document for your needs
• And of course, once you’re happy with the result, don’t forget to download it and share it with others!

From now on, forget about switching between different platforms and tools to create and edit your documents. DocAI has everything you need in one convenient location.

Generate Images Right Inside Your Document

When DocAI is mentioned, the expectation is that it’s solely a text-based platform. However, that’s not the case. We want you to download your document ready for use, not a document where you have to edit the details and add images. This is now possible with DocAI!

You can easily insert images right into your document, making it visually appealing and engaging for your readers. All you have to do is:

• Click within the document
• In the box that says “Ask AI to edit or generate…”, type your desired image or keyword
• Click on Imagine (Generate Image)

Voila! Your chosen image will be inserted into your document.

Save Documents for Later

You won’t always have time to finish writing/editing your document in one sitting. But, of course, you wouldn’t want to start from scratch every time you come back to it. That’s why DocAI allows you to easily save your document and continue working on it later.

Simply click on the “Save” button at the top right corner of the page, choose a specific name for your document to make it easier to find later,  and your document will be saved in your account for future access.

Next time you log in, just head over to the “Documents” section and you’ll be presented with a list of all your saved documents. From there, you can select the one you want to work on and continue where you left off.

Translate a Document with a Few Clicks

If you need to expand your reach and share your content with a wider audience, DocAI has got you covered. You can easily translate your document into multiple languages with just a few clicks.

After either converting a chat into a document or importing a document from your computer, simply click on the “Translate” button from the toolbar. You’ll then be prompted to choose which language you want to translate your document into.

Once selected, DocAI’s advanced AI technology will automatically translate your text and ensure accuracy and fluidity in the chosen language.
